Let My People Search!
News of one of various intended Microsoft search features - a much needed improvement over the current Google format:
This is something I've often wished for, and Google sorely lacks. I've wondered if Google is so sparse in its result displays because there would be those awful copyright battles if they "dared" to show more than a few words for each key term that is searched.
A search slider bar that offers previews of data in various forms, perhaps just the Internet address of a Web site, or maybe a snippet of text. As the slider is adjusted, more or less information appears.
