McGreevey - too many unanswered questions and a lot of lies
The question I have at this point is who has what on McGreevey.
Surely, he was threatened with some kind of exposure, but it could really be different than what he claimed on his speech. McGreevey seems like the type who had a string of adulterous hetero or homo relationships up until now, not just one.
And if Cipel is homo, why aren´t there a string of rumors or facts proving it, since he is not exactly 12 yrs old?
Cipel may have been harassed, but he certainly doesn´t seem like the innocent victim type he is claiming to be. McGreevey may not have harassed Cipel, but he is no family man or nice boss.
If McGreevey is homo and wanted to give a highpaying job to one of his toyboys, why homeland security? Why call attention to it? He could appoint him to so many different jobs, and he has so many powerful millionaires who can give such jobs to a governor´s toyboy in a completely discrete manner, so it doesn´t seem very politically savvy to do so with homeland security. Now, if Cipel has something on McGreevey, then he could demand the post. And why wouldn´t he just demand a post in regular PR if he is simply a homo toyboy? And what could Cipel have on McGreevey?
Since McMcgreevey is supported by Kushner, who tried to blackmail his own brother-in-law, you would think a lot of people who can know ugly things about McGreevey do know them and may be using them in their power struggles. If Cipel had been American, that´s where my suspicions would go, McGreevey´s local family and political enemies, but Cipel being Israeli, that brings a very different set of questions to the picture.
Other powerful politicians have been brought down by "small" clerk type people in sex scandals, but Cipel doesn´t seem to fit the dumb blonde secretary type who has an affair with powerful governor and then goes for the extortion money.
