Who's Making Society Not Safe?

(CNSNews.com) - The furor over former Rep. Mark Foley has led to a clash of religious officials, with a conservative leader claiming that "the real issue" in the scandal is the "link between homosexuality and child sexual abuse" and a liberal figure charging that such an attack on homosexuals is "ludicrous" and "dangerous."

"We are all shocked by this spectacle of aberrant sexual behavior, but we shouldn't be," said Tony Perkins, president of the conservative Family Research Council (FRC) in an email to supporters on Monday. "This is the end result of a society that rejects sexual restraints in the name of diversity."

Perkins also criticized Foley's reported contacts with former congressional pages less than 18 years of age via email and Instant Messages that contained explicit sexual content.

"When a 16-year-old boy is not safe from sexual solicitation from an elected representative of the people, we should question the moral direction of our nation," Perkins noted. "If our children aren't safe in the halls of Congress, where are they safe? Maybe it's time to question: When is tolerance just an excuse for permissiveness?

"Both political parties need to be more serious about protecting children from sexual predators," he added. "We need public policy in our country that protects marriage, respects parental authority and aggressively polices boundaries around our children."

While a guest on MSNBC's "Hardball With Chris Matthews" program on Tuesday, Perkins noted that if the Republican Party "is giving deference and protection and safe haven to those who are on a path of sexual deviancy and abusing children, that's a problem."

In a press release on Thursday, the Rev. John Thomas, general minister and president of the 1.2-million-member United Church of Christ, criticized Perkins for "using the Mark Foley congressional scandal to scapegoat the larger gay and lesbian community."

"Perkins' recent remarks are destructive to gay and lesbian persons and their families and distract the nation's attention from the real issue at hand, which is protecting young people from sexual predators," Thomas said.

Another great fallout from this scandal, although few people will want to take notice. I've written before that society is not reckoning with the real cases of homos and bisexuals who are predatory, harassful, or abusive. Society nows only serves to protect non-heterosexual perpetrators who make life unsafe or damaged for other minors and adults.

At least the GLBT activist slimes will have to shove up theirs the propaganda line that homos are not safe because of those awful anti-pro-homos. Who was creating unsafeness to minors here?

It seems to me, Foley was very comfy and safe in the arms of that corrupt GOP pro-homo leadership. They covered for him, they took no action, they could care less what he was doing, they are all for his diseased homosexual mind. Isn't it cute how tolerant they were?

And also, what no one asks, if a homo is so unscrupulous to go after minors, what about his behavior towards adult males? Was there anything there as well? Maybe not. Maybe he is the type who is too much of a coward to try to be a slime towards "bigger" people who could break his face (physically or politically).

Then again, maybe anything that happened in this respect has been nicely covered up as well.

And then look at the last quoted statement by Thomas:

"Perkins' recent remarks are destructive to gay and lesbian persons and their families and distract the nation's attention from the real issue at hand, which is protecting young people from sexual predators," Thomas said.

Is he on crack? Yes, that is exactly the issue, and what has come to light is a homo predator covered-up by homo-obsessed Republicans. So instead of systematically lying regarding the fact that homos and bisexuals engage in predatory behavior, instead of portraying them as little victims, Thomas would do well to spend his energies going after the ones he loves to cover up for. Or to remain completely inactive about.

Given the level of fanaticism that abounds about homosexuality, I suppose I should clarify for the dishonest pro-homos out there, that when I write "the fact that homos and bisexuals engage in predatory behavior, " it is the equivalent of saying "the fact that heterosexuals engage in predatory behavior. " It doesn't mean ALL of them, but most pro-homos are just slimes, so they dishonestly make the distortion every time. See clear examples here.

The question I have for the obsessed pro-homo Thomas is how many Foleys are out there? How many go from virtual to real? What actions does he take to find out who is a Foley-type? How does he know who is making society not safe for minors (and adults) if he is just a homo-obsessed tripe with no intent or courage to uncover the Foleys in society? And he can go after all the heterosexuals too. We don't discriminate here, like the tripe of Thomases do. Get them OUT.
